Hello please help ...Attempted robbery?

Hello I was wondering about attempted robbery my ex partner is on remand for 2 months for attempted robbery of a house they all left with nothing and I think on lookers called the police, before we got together he was in prison for 2 months for violence.. I did not no that at the time, he's got court in 10 weeks will he defiantly go to prison?
