I have never had a girl friend and never been kissed! I am 27.?

I am 27. Girls (most of them, good lookers themselves) who were friends rated me a 8 on 10. Some of them even told me that I am one of the most awesome guys that they 've met. Almost everyone I meet with, tells me that I am of above average intelligence too. Problem though is that I have never had a girl friend and I never got kissed! I came close to having a girl friend thrice. When I realized that they were already committed, I backed off. (Happened to me on all 3 occasions). I have always looked for a long term companionship. All the girls I loved are still my very good friends, I talk to each of them except one on a fairly regular basis and neither of them save one knows I loved her. I haven't had much interactions with girls later. Till date, I have only had about a total of 5 dates with 3 different girls in the last 10 years. I have been trying to get a girl friend for ages now. What do I do to get one?
