Well just be patient if you really love her! Being a single mom is SO stressfull it's insane. She doesn't want you to meet her son yet for that very reason that she told you, It's hard on the kid if he met you and devoloped a relationship with you. What would the kid feel if you and she broke up? He would feel betrayed. The note thing is pure jeolusy, women are full of it! She needs to rant, but if she continues to do that, something is wrong.
